Radstock has much to offer.

Nestled on the edge of the Mendips, Radstock has access to spectacular routes for both walking and cycling with quiet country lanes and beautiful countryside.

It is home to the Radstock Museum where a wide range of exhibits give an insight into much of Radstock’s varied history and geology.and close to Writhlington School, notable for its orchid collection which has won numerous awards and houses the largest collection of orchids outside of Kew Gardens.

Part-Time Receptionist

Radstock Community Hub

12 hours per week

Salary: £17,711 pro rata (NJC scale 2)

The Town Council is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Part-Time Receptionist at the new Community Hub for Radstock (launching in April 2019).

The successful applicant will be well organised, flexible and reliable, with a customer focused approach to work, and will possess a good knowledge of standard receptionist and administrative processes.

The successful applicant will permanently occupy the following reception shifts on a weekly basis:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays – 12 noon to 4.00 pm (12 hours).

Application deadline – Thursday 28th February 2019, 12 noon.

Interviews will be held week commencing 11th March 2019 with a commencement date of Tuesday 2nd April 2019.

Radstock Town Council Grants are now open

Radstock Town Council were proud to nominate young Corey Walkes from Radstock for the Chairman of Bath & North East Somerset Council's Sports Awards in the category of Young Achiever in Sport award. 

The achievements of volunteers, athletes and coaches were celebrated at a ceremony in the Guildhall, Bath on Tuesday 31 March where Corey received his award.

Corey is an inspiring young man who demonstrates commitment, dedication and a positive attitude in all he does.  He is a role model locally and indeed for our country.  His remarkable sporting achievements lead the way for others to follow.  A local sporting hero for us all to be proud of.
