Radstock is renowned as one of the best preserved former coal-mining towns in England which is the basis of its conservation status.  Much more can be learnt with a visit to Radstock Museum which houses a range of exhibits, giving visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the town’s industrial and social history.

Radstock is set in glorious countryside and offers excellent opportunities for both cyclists and walkers to explore the Colliers Way which predominantly traces the route of the old railways. For further information on cycling and walking visit the “Things To Do” section of the website.

The town offers a variety of shops many of which are independent specialists offering local products and a variety of services.  Visit the “Radstock News” section to find out more about up and coming events.
