Dear potential winner!
You are invited to apply to the 13th Community Dragons’ Den, taking place at Westfield Community Centre on the evening of Thurs 1st Oct, 5.30pm to 7.30pm!
The Dragons’ Den event is designed to enable residents and organisations to receive money to carry out projects that will benefit the communities within Radstock and Westfield (including Clandown, Haydon, Tyning and Writhlington).
Residents and organisations are invited to apply to take part to win up to £500 each – and make good things happen in our community!
- The first 15 applicants will be given the opportunity to pitch, so get your applications in ASAP!
- The community* decide! Applicants will be making their pitch to the audience, who will vote for their favourite 5 projects.
- There will be ten winners!
- There will be refreshments!
- There will be fun and a chance to connect with the community and stakeholders (recently from Quartet Community Foundation, TNL Community Fund, Somer Valley Rotary and 3SG).
The application form is simple and quick to fill in, all you need is an idea to make your community an even better place to live!

Importantly, it’s the residents themselves who will decide which projects are their priorities. Together we have created many opportunities to inspire, engage and entertain local residents – 120 projects have already been supported!
