RADSTOCK HAS MUCH TO OFFER

The Iron age settlement of Radstock sits on the Roman built Fosse Way, south west of Bath.

The discovery of coal in 1763, led to the rapid growth in the area with former mines now making up a number of the Radstock wards within the town, all of which can explored in the Radstock Museum.

The area has evolved into a network of greenspaces and active ways providing lovely walks and cycleways in beautiful countryside and the town itself is situated within a conservation area recognised by white lias and historic terraces and buildings.

It is well worth a visit.
